MKDS Policies

Registration
Registration fees are $35 for the first dancer and $10 for each additional dancer in a family. Registration fees are due at time of registration for recreational students and on August 1 for competitive dancers.

Tuition
Tuition is non-refundable and will not be prorated for any reason. ALL Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. A late fee of $15 will be assessed on the 3rd of the month and will be automatically charged to your card on file along with the tuition/fees owed. Late fees will be added every 15 days until the account is paid in full.

Recital/Costumes
It is understood that all registered students will participate in our annual June recital. There is a Recital fee of $100 per student, $150 per family and is due Jan 1. Each dancer will have 1 (one) costume for recital and will pay a costuming fee of $100 due Mar 1. **Dancers in Show Stoppers and Performance Project will have 2 costumes for the show. Their costume fee is $150.

If your dancer can not participate in the recital, please let us know so that costumes are not ordered for them.

Recreational Classes
Minimum of 5 students is required for a class to be offered. 
If attendance drops below 5, that class is subject to cancellation.

No credits or refunds for missed classes. Make up classes are allowed and must be made up with In 2 weeks.

$35 charge for any returned check.

Drop Class

Please give us a minimum of 28-days notice when dropping a class so that we may fill that spot.

Less than 28-days notice will make you responsible for the upcoming month of tuition.

Communication

MKDS does not mail out information packets or billing statements. Parents are responsible for information emailed to them, posted on Mskarens.com and on their DanceWorks accounts. Please check weekly for new information.
